HOWEVER, DON’T PANIC!… You could still join us for the night and enjoy a wonderful supper in The Garden Room … or stay with us Friday night on our ‘Winter Stay’ and enjoy Dinner in The Oak Room choosing from our Prix Fixe menu. Followed by a peaceful night in one of our super comfortable rooms, waking up on Valentine’s Day with Tea or Coffee and The Times brought to your room, followed by a delicious breakfast in The Garden Room. What could be more romantic than a night (or two!) at The George of Stamford!

Set the scene at home, or anywhere your romantic self wishes, for a beautiful occasion safe in the knowledge that you’ll enjoy our wonderfully traditional and delicious Valentine’s Afternoon Tea! The George will do all of the hard work, you just need to pop to The Hotel to collect you order at your chosen time, and then indulge in the comfort of your own home - unadulterated bliss!

Your feast includes Delicate Finger Sandwiches, Scrumptious Cakes and Tartlets, Sublime Scones with Cornish clotted cream and Tiptree strawberry jam and Fortnum & Mason Afternoon Tea Blend. Be truly decadent and add half a bottle of Champagne Taittinger Rosé to perfectly complement your cream tea - bottles are also available.
