Celebrate in Style

An extra-special evening of dining, dancing, entertainment and being looked after sumptuously awaits you – all within the ancient walls of this iconic and much loved hotel and under the care of the super-attentive Team.  Soak up the energy and atmosphere… here comes 2020!

 

The festivities commence with a convivial Champagne and Canapé Welcome Party – enjoy your bubbles to the sounds of the ever-popular Cambridge Jazz Band, whilst mingling with old friends and new.  Let the evening begin…

 

There follows a simply exquisite seven course repast – created by Chef Patron Paul Reseigh and his amazing Brigade – showing their flair and imagination throughout.  A seriously fitting farewell to 2019!

 

 

The jazz band meanders through the hotel during the evening.   Dancing commences to the live band, Honeywell – and Steve Allen spins the discs in the hidden ‘disco’.  Excitement and energy build … The RAF Waddington Piper warms up his bagpipes, having already played some traditional tunes, before he ceremoniously pipes in The New Year. Then get your serious dancing shoes on and dance away until the early hours…

 

A reviving bacon and sausage bap is served at 1.00am – just to keep you going until carriages at 2.00am.  If you wish, stay the night, have a super-comfortable sleep and then start New Year’s Day with a traditional, hearty and restoring British breakfast.
