New Year's Eve Gala Dinner 2010 - 2011A spectacular gourmet dinner is served to the usual excellent standard, for which The George is renowned. Throughout the evening, Sonny Monk and his band of Minstrels, roam around the Hotel and Ritchie Allen Disco will be in the Porter’s Lodge.
Friday 31st December 2010Last orders will be taken for lunch in the Garden Room at 1.00pm The à la carte Restaurant will be closed for lunch
Programme of events7.30pm - Staff welcome you for a Champagne Reception, accompanied by Sonny Monk’s Jazz Band
8.00pm for 8.30pm – A spectacular gourmet dinner is served to the usual excellent standard, for which The George is renowned
Throughout the evening, Sonny Monk and his band of Minstrels, roam around the Hotel and Ritchie Allen Disco will be in the Porter’s Lodge
The Honeywell Band play live in the Lounge and are joined by a wandering Scottish piper, who then countdown until midnight and welcome in 2011!
1.00am – Enjoy freshly prepared, free range egg and bacon rolls
2.30am – Carriages
This is a black tie event for over 18’s and ticket holders only

New Year's Day (booking essential)
Garden Room and bars open all day as normal where reservations are not taken.
Booking Terms: A deposit of £100.00 per room and £25.00 per person for non-residents is required by 30th April 2010 to guarantee reservations. Final payment is required on Monday 8th November and by no later than Friday 12th November 2010 for all tickets and accommodation. Deposits and pre-payments are non-refundable under any circumstances A black tie event for over 18's and ticket holders only A special accommodation rate is available either side of New Year's Eve, rates for which are available on request. For guests staying on January 1st, the à la carte Restaurant offers a set menu for both lunch and dinner at £49.50 per person.
